He is a husband, father of twin boys, and someone who believes strongly in servant leadership and caring for others through the work we do. Before starting Shield and Shine, Sam spent years serving in demanding public service roles where responsibility, discipline, and attention to detail were essential. That background shaped the way this business operates today. Reliability matters. Integrity matters. Showing up and doing the job right matters. When Sam became a father, his perspective on work and life shifted. Providing for his family while also being present at home became a priority. Like many parents, he wanted to build something that created both opportunity and stability for his family while also serving the community around him. That desire is what led to the creation of Shield and Shine. What began as a simple window cleaning business quickly became something more. It became a way to serve homeowners and businesses throughout the Piedmont Triad while building relationships with the people who live and work in the community. Today, Shield and Shine continues to grow through word of mouth, referrals, and customers who value dependable service delivered with professionalism and care.
